DH2 Question [spoiler]

In DH2, in the book, it’s Crabbe who casts the Fiendfyre in the Room of Hidden Things and kills himself etc. I know that Crabbe got dropped for the movie (the actor got busted with some weed), so the scene had Malfoy/Goyle/Zabini instead, and Goyle falls into the fire and dies. Anyway so straight after that they destroy the Diadem horcrux (which yes, in the book, the Fiendfyre did it for them), and Voldemort feels it, and turns around and kills someone. My guess is that it was Goyle Sr. Does anyone know who it was?
